White and raw sienna | Cover the entire horse with this color.
Add a small amount of brown earth. Cover the entire horse except for the area behind the elbow and the flank.
Add a small amount of brown earth and one of gold oxide. Cover the entire horse going over the lighter areas behind the elbow and the flank very lightly so they stand out.
Add some burnt sienna. Continue to build your darks.
Add more Burnt Sienna and a small amount of Burnt Umber. Continue to build the darks.
Add more burnt umber. Continue to build darks
Start a new batch of color. Use burnt Sienna and a small amount of Thalo green. The thalo green will cut the red in the sienna. Seal bay has very little red in the coat.
Add raw umber and burnt sienna Continue building your darks.
Add raw umber and a small amount of black.
