as told to Gina in 1991  Hi! My name is Zeus! I'm a miniature horse, except that Gina says that I'm smaller than most. I guess that's because my Momma was sick before I was born. I used to live in the big barn with all the big horses, but this summer, Gina made me my own barn in the backyard. I really like it there and I have my own rooster named Buster living in my barn with me to keep me company. Lately tho, I been thinkin' a lot about Christmas. Last year was really fun and I even heard Santa land on top of the big barn and everything and next morning I had CARROTS in front of my stall. I was really excited 'cause it was my first Christmas. I'm kinda worried about this year tho 'cause I'm afraid Santa won't see my barn 'cause it's so small and I don't even have a chimney or anything. What if Santa flys right by and lands on the big barn and never sees my 'lil Zeus barn?? I GOTTA do somethin'!! Let's see, maybe Buster my rooster could
stay up and watch 'cause he's up crowin' at night anyway and
when he sees Santa and Rudolph he could really crow and crow
and maybe Santa would hear him............no........... Maybe my dogs could watch and they could
bark and bark when they hear him.........no, they might scare
him. Maybe the other horses could whinney and
whinney when he comes and lands on their barn roof.............no.....they'll
be sleepin'. What's a lil guy like me to do??
