The unthinkable has happened! Piggy has fallen head over heels in love with Zeus!

Now I know that nothing should surprise me anymore, because we have proven many times in the past that we must have the weirdest animals in Washington (maybe in the whole USA), but this is just too much.

I first noticed a slight flirtation going on a few days ago, when Piggy was anxious to join Zeus for an early morning breakfast over fluffed alfalfa leaves and a certain lingering over the water trough, before ambling sexily down to the house. Honestly, she has the cutest walk with a rolling swing of her chubbie "heinie" and pert wag of her tail.

Zeus seemed pretty aloof at first and played the sophisticated "stallion" routine to the hilt, but last night over a twilight dinner, he was seen rubbing his head on Piggys more than ample hindquarters with something of a twinkle in his eye.

Piggy on the other hand was totally transfixed and I'm sure had images of wandering the Pegasus Farm pastures hoof in hoof and the real possibility of sharing a stall in the private two stall suite of the "horse house".

Now Zeus has had resident kittens, roosters, and other miscellaneous friends staying with him, but a little Piggy named Matilda??!!

I guess I can see why he thinks she is so cute, no neck, big belly, independent, demanding........sounds exactly like Zeus!
